Classic romantic luxury - a mixed faith wedding at the incredible Mt Duneed Estate in Waurn Ponds. Marita and Andrew were married and celebrated with family and friends in an epic combination of their two faith traditions.
Marita and Andrew got ready at Sea Joy Studio airbnb in Jan-Juc - Bells Beach area and after a first look we headed off for photos down on the very windy beach. Their ceremony cleverly combined both their Jewish and Christian faiths with a good old feminist head nod. A smash of the glass (a Jewish tradition and after a few tries) and to many cheers, the party was on! They started with artisan ice-cream by Vanilla & Co in the courtyard before heading indoors to feast in the most beautiful reception setup I have ever seen. Jessica Alderton Events crafted the most magical, space absolutely overflowing with flowers.
My personal highlights of this day were the absolute madness of the Hora (Jewish dancing) with the couple lifted up on chairs and also being able to capture this day for this beautiful family as Marita's dad's health meant that they weren't sure he would be well enough to come.
This was brilliant example of a wedding well thought out that respectfully combined what mattered to both families.
